1) Insert > Footer > Default (This is a series of mouse clicks.) A
footer appears at the bottom of the page. The cursor moves to the left
margin in the footer.
2) Use the Tab key to move the cursor to the right margin of the footer.
3) Insert > Fields > Page Number (This inserts the page number where the
cursor is.) If you also want to have the word Page appear before the
page number, type the word Page before inserting the page number.
I found this information in Help. Using the Index tab of Help, I
entered footers in the search box. I then saw a subtopic of with page
numbers. I clicked that and then Display at the bottom of the window.
