You do not mention system configuration nor operating system.
It helps to tell what your system has. A very slow system will
load very slowly, and there is nothing you can do about it.

Hey David
(I have been following the "10 seconds" correspondence.) My load time
has always been slow mainly 'cos I have cluttered my poor old PC with
far too many programs, odds and bits of software and general junk. I
did what you recommended and my load time has dropped from 15 + seconds
(!) to 3 seconds !
