Excel doesn't let you do this either. I selected multiple non-contiguous cells and tried :
- ctrl + C - Right click then copy - Right click then cut - Edit > copy All came back with an error message of "That command cannot be used on multiple selections." I'm using Excel 2003 on winXP-pro. In saying that OOo cannot do it either (using all of the methods described above). There must be something that limits this functionality within these spreadsheets. /paul On 10/26/05, Don Hetherington <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi > MS Excel allows me to copy multiple non consecutive cells as a group and > paste to another worksheet. > ie I want to copy cells a2, a6, a8, a10, a25 = hold ctrl + click each cell > required then right click mouse, copy then move to new worksheet select cell > and paste. > This method doesn't work in Calc. > How do I perform this task in Calc? > Don Hetherington > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > (03) 9465 1916 > 0432 145 460 > 27 Louise Street, Lalor Vic > www.latown.cjb.net <http://www.latown.cjb.net/> > <http://www.incredimail.com/index.asp?id=409&lang=9>
