Hello All:
I have recently been able to open one of my large (25 meg) excel
spreadsheets in Calc. With help from Daniel Rentz I was able to clean up
a few of the formulas and the whole thing is working (well I have not
tried the macros yet). Anyway, Calc took a LONG time to open the file
and even LONGER to save it (many minutes, I didn't time it because I'm
not that patient). I thought that maybe when I saved it in ODS format it
would go much faster but it did not. These long save times will prevent
me from migrating to Calc.
Is there a trick to working with large files in calc? The same
spreadsheet opens and saves in a few seconds with excel and gnumeric.
