Dear colleagues,
since I discovered the molecule visualization applet Jmol a few days
ago, I get more and more enthusiastic about this fantastic program. A
far better solution than MDL chime: No installation required, cross
platform, easy to use, supports rasmol scripting and open source -
couldn't be any better!
A real killer-feature would be the integration of jmol into OpenOffice
Impress presentations for demonstrating molecules in lectures! As there
is the option to integrate applets in Impress, this should be possible!?
Unfortunately I tried really hard, but didn't manage to integrate jmol
(or any other simple demo-applet like Suns JavaClock) via the menu
"insert" -> "objects" -> "applet". I couldn't find any useful
information about how to insert an applet on the internet. So I thought
you might be able to help... What am I doing wrong?
I would be really grateful for any troubleshooting or hint on this
problem. Kind regards from Munich,
Felix.
