Thank you. It gives me an idea of what I am looking
for and why I am getting these errors. I am trying to
relate your fix to my machine. I have WinXP Pro/SP2,
not Linux, unfortunately.

I did note when the errors also came: if I created
any new document and saved it as an xml (.odt) file,
I'd get the errors (I didn't get the errors saving as
a .doc or .swx file); or whenever I opened an existing
.odt document, made some modifications and resaved the
document as .odt, I'd get the errors. However, doing
more work on that same .odt document and again saving
the document as an .odt file, I did not get the
errors. Only when I save an .odt file the first time
while OpenOffice has that file open.

So basically, you're saying that it really is not all
that important, just an annoying nuisance is all?

Greg.
