G'day, If I read you correctly, you are asking if there are conversion filter for your works files. The short answer is, no. However, if you use Works to save your files in RTF format, OpenOffice.org can import these easily and you can then format them as you like. As to letters et cetera, OOo uses templates. There are many sources of templates but the easiest one is to use the collection at http://documentation.openoffice.org/ The direct link is http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/index.html and all the templates are usable in OOo1.1.x and OOo2.0 so no worries.
