Glad I could help. But there is a caveat, of course; you can't use this trick if you need fractions of a second.
And it *is* just a workaround. The original issue remains valid IMO. There should be some tighter correspondence between the display format and the input format. It would also be nice if you could use an "input mask" so that you could enter date/time values quickly using the numeric keypad. Dates aren't so bad using the "/" delimiter, but I hate having to use the colon for times. It's a shifted character and just slows me down immensely.
