  Good; it's not just me.

I have heard from a radical solution which says to deinstall all versions,
delete - per hand - all remaining OO.org folders (the ones you have named,
but backup the files which you need later as e.g. templates), and then
reinstall 2.0.

  This looks like a recommendation from Redmond.

  The easiest thing to do is press the [Enter] key a couple of times when the
message boxes appear, then continue. I presume it will be fixed sometime in
the foreseeable future. Or not. :-)
