The best thing as well is that's the whole OOo suite is completely
free... No $$ required (apart from any download costs charged by your
ISP, that is).
. In addition, you can install Dmaths (see www.dmaths.org), a set of
macro to simplify and/or speed up OOo-Math edition (under GPL). It also
adds new functions (easy drawing fo curves...).
Important: all Dmaths documents are made in OOo native format, so you
can read and modify them with or without Dmaths (only OOo is necessary).
Perhaps english version is not the most recent one (Dmaths is developped
in french and translated in several languages). But I think it will change.
. There is just one problem for OOo Math editor, on my mind:
