I have just tried to use the spell checker for OpenOffice.org, and it does  
not check anything.  It just says it is finished and there were misspelled  
words.  After observing it miss a word the first go-round, I deliberately  
put in some gibberish words, and again it said everything was all right,  
whether in the entire letter or a highlighted section.  I have been using  
computer word processors since 1983 and never had a spell checker fail so  
badly.  Am I doing something wrong?  Do I need to install differently?
