Matej,

Sorry. I thought hitting "reply" to any message and changing the subject line makes a new thread. Apparently it doesn't.

1. The file I was having trouble with, doesn't exist any more, as I deleted it when it gave trouble. Therefore, I opened a new odt file (PrintTest.odt) after reading your message, set it at 18.6 mm x 25.4 mm (7.33" X 10") and tried to upload it to my Geocities account. But the upload didn't work - says invalid filename. So now we seem to have another problem - for some reason, the Geocities ftp is not accepting the .odt extension. As the file name itself (PrintTest) is quite ordinary, I assume the problem is with the extension.

2. I had been trying to print the original file (about which I wrote on Nov 12) on my office printer, which is an HP laser. Since I am at home at the moment, I tried to print the new file (PrintTest.odt) on my home printer, which is an Epson C45 inkjet. This time it seems to print ok in the selected size.

Once again, I will appreciate help/advice on this subject.

a) do not hijack threads!
b) put somewhere on the web example document with this feature for readers
of this list to test it.
