Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are programs in MS Office. It is a commercial
office suite that costs money. (Teachers and students can get discounts.)
OpenOffice.org (OOo) is a free office suite. It is available for
downloading from the www.openoffice.org web site. The latest version is 2.0.
It has similarities to MS Office, and it also has differences in how its
programs work. There are manual available at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/index.html
which can help you learn how to use OOo.
