Spreadsheet do not exist within a Base file: Base only connects to the
spreadsheet. Furthermore, The connection between Base and the spreadsheet is
strictly read only: you can not write to the spreadsheet from Base.
I assume she wants to have certain fields with which she imputs
information into the spreadsheet. I also assume she wants to be able to use
the speadsheet to do calculations on those fields.
A Base file can be created to hold these fields and their values. A query
can then be created to place the fields she wants in the correct order. The
data from these fields can then be inserted into pre-determined cells of the
spreadsheet. (This is done by using the Data to Text icon.) Any calculations
she then wants to make can be made. There are several steps necessary to do
this. If she wants the details on how to do this, have her email me.
