Is it possible to use what is selected in an OOo combobox (in a form) as a
query criterion? I know how to do it in Access, but it doesn't seem to be
working in OOo. Perhaps there is a syntax difference I'm not aware of.

Any advice is appreciated.

I am sorry, but I am a bit inexperienced in what you might accomlish doing this, so this is difficult for me to answer. So, what exactly, do you want to accomplish? I have never used Access, so please describe the desired behavior.

I have a list of problems that I intend to solve, well, the list is perhaps too long for me to ever solve them all, but I am working on the slowly. This sounds like a problem that I might actually bother to solve and place on the database page of my web site. Here is my current list on this topic:

Simple relationship, showing the other data. (including the name).
Using a drop down list box, rather than the id, to set the dealer id.
Using a button for “help and fill” from a list box.
Use a drop down list box using dealer name, rather than the id, to show and set the dealer id.

Next, setup a many to many relationship and discuss what to do with it in a manner similar to the one to many relationship.

The list does not make complete sense, unless you have a copy of the document that I am creating :-) I decided to keep this separate from my Database ramblings document until I see how long it is. I think that it will be long enough to warrant its own document.
