I don't think training etc would cost more than for M$, as the usage stays more or less the same. Anyone who can use word or excel can also use writer and calc.
And there is no need of document conversion, as xls and doc files can be read and written to (most probably you'll want to stay with those file formats anyway to keep compatible). Am Freitag, 18.
