Make a copy of the file. Rename that copy to <whatever>.zip. Then try to
extract the contents using Winzip or 7-zip or whatever your favorite
unzipping program is.
If that fails, then the file got corrupted on your hard-drive. If you
can open it, then there is something wrong with the XML. The lines
toward the end of the recovery data about checksums makes me suspect
that the zip is corrupt.
