Keith, I found a website that lets you build all sorts of custom blank musical staves at http://www.blanksheetmusic.net. One method would be to use the site to design the blank staves the way you want them, then take a screenshot. Use The GIMP as necessary to fix it up, extend the lines, etc., save it as a .png and then paste it right into OpenOffice.org Impress (Presenter).
