I have found that the *.odt files load faster than similar *.sxw files on
the same machine. I had a group of *.sxw files that I converted to *.odt
using OOo 2.0. I found opening the same file in both forms in OOo 2.0 gave
the edge to the *.odt file. The time for opening the *.sxw file in 1.1.4 and
2.0 was about the same on the same machine.
