All OOo files are simply zipped xml files. You can make a copy of your sxw/sxc/odt/odc file and name it "xxx.zip". WinUnzip will then open it and show you the contents. It is probably easier to see this if you turn on "Tools" -> "Optoins" -> Load/Save -> General and turn off "size optimized".
