Hello Openoffice,
I have a big problem with my m/s Office Word programme. I can not find anyone
to fix it, so I was advised to download your programme.
I did this ( for about 2 1/2 hours!)
I was asked if I wanted to have it in three different locations, imcludind
Word and Excell. So, I chose Word and Excell as those are two programmes that I
use.
I have items that were originated in Word and Excell in folders in "My
Documents"
I wanted to write a report, using one of the document templates that I had in
word. When I transferred it to the OpenOffice programme, it came as a picture
format and I can not use it to type on!
I would add, here, that I have only been using a computer for just over seven
months, and if you can help me, please be explicit in your directions!
The whole of the saved items in this folder in My Documents are affected .
Could I take the OpenOffice off the documents in the folders or do I have to
uninstall and reinstall without choosing to open it in the word and excell
programmes?
