Hi Jakob,
Did you try in the Tasks panel the "Slide Transition" pane to set
music and the option "loop until next sound" on the first slide and
no other sound on other slides ?

I've been trying to have continued sound for yonks now. The closest I
can get is using Tools... Media Player. it works except that the media
Player can not be hidden, (rather spoils my presentation, I'd say ;-) .)
This has cropped up here and on the OOo Forum. Maybe it's time for an issue!
