It doesn't matter which region you select. Since your in the UK, any
one of the mirrors that are in the UK will do fine.

MD5 calculations are a way of confirming that you downloaded the file
accurately. I wouldn't worry about this in the first instance.

You save the file to a location on your hard drive, then follow the
'installation instructions' that can be found here :
http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.0/instructions.html
