I've just found a strange happening on Ubuntu 5.10 with Open Office 2 (final - not the 1.9 that shipped with Ubuntu). I have a csv file that I downloaded from a website. If I open it in OO Calc and do a "Save As" into ods format, then when I go to my Recent Documents option in Gnome, the file is shown as one with no application associated with it, and when I double-click, it tells me that it doesn't know what application to open it with. The file in my Documents directory is perfectly normal, with the correct ods icon, and on double-clicking, opens correctly in Calc. However, if I open the same csv file in calc and click on "Save" (as opposed to "Save As") and select "No" for saving as a csv file, then the "association" in the Gnome "Recent Documents" menu option is correct!
Is this a Gnome problem or is this a OO2 problem? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
