Well, of course "complicated" is in the eye of the beholder, so to
speak. But these applications are pretty complex - two have taken me
years to perfect (which raises the competence issue <grin>). I have no
appetite to redo them, so I'll keep them in Access and look for a new
application for OOo Base.
