Sorting : This type of function is probably best done in calc. Open a
blank spreadsheet and enter the data. Sort is then on any column you
want. If you really do need to use writer for this, create the table
first, select the entire table, then 'sort' will be available to be
selected.

Outlook express uses the M$ office spell checking functionality - if
you don't have M$ office, then this will not work. There is no present
ability to integrate OOo-writer into outlook express as you can do
with M$ word and outlook express.

I would recommend if your keen to ditch outlook to try the better
email client of Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird/)
