Now that you have the database created - I called mine "List2005" you can customize your Xmas letter by inserting selected fields. Open your letter with "text document" and position the cursor to where you want to put the selected field. Say you want the person's name after the opening Dear .... >From the drop-down menus INSERT > FIELDS > OTHER, select the type of "Mail Merge fields" (left box) and then press (+) beside the name of your data source (right box), press the (+) beside the "list2005" data range, select the "name" field you wish to insert and click on "Insert" and Close" Your line will now look like "Dear <name> Now when you print the document you get the same questions and responses as given in John Viestenz's instructions for printing the labels.
