I've been using vim on Linux. OpenOffice looks like a dream come true, I looked all day yesterday for how to do these things. Please Help?
I need to create a 'front page for a legal document' template. The template: Pleading Papers (upper one) located at: http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/template/legal/index.html Works for me, to a point. My papers need to conform with the County standards: 1. I need a row of }s down the center to divide name } case numbers. How can I do this? Everything I tried and looked at does not allow me to type those } brackets there. They slide everywhere and move around but will NOT line up. 2. A separate, full page width box, for the subject of the pleading would be nice. 3. I do not understand the preset type styles in the existing Template. Why can't I change them? and How can I add more text that matches? (This isn't the usual text modification at the top. It DOES not change.) ********** 3. In the body of the text, I need (most) paragraphs numbered down the centers.
