I just installed OO 2.0. I had been using 1.9.something, which worked

If you still have this problem then please remove all installations of
OpenOffice.org and re-install it.

I had tried that a few times. I no longer have the problem, as I have
replaced the computer (other issues). OO installed perfectly on the new
machine.
