Yeah
I saved it as a bmp file, (cannot find GDI Metafile in 2.0) and inserted
as a picture.
Just a pity that this should be such a problem.
Anyway - one day...
Thanks

Hi all again
Using the the OLE insert method:
This allows me to edit the drawing inside the document. All I did is
resize it so that all the connector lines, text box etc like what I
created in OO Draw. As soon as I exited, reverted back to how it was
- i.e. , ignored all my changes. So now I have text boxes displaying
only 3/4 sides of a rectangle, lines disappearing - even though its
visually the same size as the original. - Can't use that!
Using cut and paste CTRL C / V method:
As I mentioned before, all formatting is lost. Sorry this is not
entriely correct. Only the font setting seems to dissappear. However,
lines and boxes have been moved so that verticle lines are no longer
straight and connectors now are on top of each other rather than next
to each other as I originally placed them. I cannot reposition them -
Can't use that either.
Is there any other way that I can insert a OO drawing so that it
resembles what I originally created?
Thanks

I have never had much luck inserting a drawing object either. Sometimes
items in groups would come "unstuck" for no apparent reason and resizing
it in the Writer document just didn't work very well.
I've had good luck with selecting the drawing object and copying/pasting
as either a "GDI Metafile" or as a bitmap. But you can't edit it as a
Drawing later.
