I have OOo on a thumb drive. It works great! As an administrative assistant and an instructor, I like to carry my files around. I never know what computer I will be working on next.
What I would really like is to be able to use OOo on either my MobilPro (HPC) or my Dell Axim (PPC). While both of these PDAs have Microsoft Office on them, it is really inadequate. The Word is fine for straight typing. But it has very few features for anything other than text. The Excel is difficult to use, macros do not work and are messed up in translation. Multiple tabs just do not work well either. Access is a JOKE and PowerPoint is a limited viewer only. Does anyone think in the future there will be a version of OOo for the PDA sector. I heard that there was a version for PPC/Linux but as I have not heard of PPC/Linux, I simply do not know for sure.
