OK, that's something I had not done. So just now I set my default Asian language to Japanese (previously it was set to <none>), and now I have a different result. Using the same sentence and ruby as before: no me hables de lo que no sabes not me.dat speak.you.sg of it.thing that.comp not know.you.sg When I click on Apply I get: no me hables de lo que no sabesno And every time I click on Apply I get an additional -no at the end: no me hables de lo que no sabesnononono But still nothing appearing below. I also tried setting it to center, 010, 121, and to top instead of bottom, but no change in the results. An interesting thing about the added -no is that it is adding the no as a new word in the ruby dialog box, even though it is appending it to the end of the last word in the sentence without a space. E.g., in the above example with four nos, the ruby dialog box shows four more rows, each containing a no in the left column and a not in the right column. I also tried setting the default Asian languages to other Asian languages. I tried all that were listed, but got the same results. I also tried checking the Complex Text Layout box, but still no change. Oh, and I have OO.o 2.0 (not 2.01) on my Windows 2000 computer and 1.9.129 on my Ubuntu-64 Breeezy computer. I would say this is a bug, but I am getting exactly the same results on both computers. Therefore, it must be something in the user settings, since I have them set up the same way. I even have the same fonts installed on both computers. Maybe if some other users here can experiment we can find someone else who is getting the same results as me. That might help me track down what is wrong. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
