I ordered it and the note on my order states that it will be delivered
sometime in early January, 2006! That is the origin of my optimistic
statement.
Not only that, because Amazon lists the intended publication dates as
received from publishers, sometimes those dates turn out to be a bit
optimistic, with the book actually appearing several months to a year
after the announced publication date.
