To get *nonenglish version of OOo* (menus and help), either download the complete localised build and install (over the english if you have it), or install the language patch.
Right now OOo2.0.1 is not released in swedish, so install the english one, and patch it to swedish with the language pack. Unfortunately language packs -especially some- are extremely hard to find :( (Swedish is one of the languages not handled by OOo yet http://projects.openoffice.org/native-lang.html ) I found language packs on http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/ If you can not find the exact version, there use to be no notable problem using the one for the former version (I think worst scenario mean a few items are still in english) Latest swedish pack for OOo2.0.1 on MSWindows right now seem to be http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/2.0.1rc5/OOo_2.0.1rc5_051215_Win32Intel_langpack_sv.exe To install the language: 1) close OOo - including the quickstarter!! 2) then execute the language pack. 3) start OOo ---------------------- SPELL CHECK ------------------ Sven: *Spell check* dictionaries are easily installed by the meny in writer, in swedish: Arkiv>Guider>Installera nya kataloger... Which loads a macro document that downloads and install dictionaries :) (Yes, a bad transaltion, is still being handled in issuezilla, http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=55621) Also check menu in writer: Verktyg>Alternativ>Språkinställningar>Lingvistik Hope this helps.
