Earlier I wrote in response:

I have now discovered that the toolbar buttons enlarge and
decrease font size by two points per click, so I suspect that if
these functions were applied to key shortcuts, the same would happen.
For increasing/decreasing by one point, you probably would need a
macro (which you could assign to a key combination). If Ian
Laurenson or one of the other macro/extension enthusiasts do not
already have one for this purpose, they might be persuaded to
write one. I'm not into writing macros; I just encourage other
people to write ones I need. <big grin>
