Did you report your errors for OOo 2.0 ?
Please remember that any office suite is naturally complex and that even
though great efforts are made in testing it is almost impossible to test all
functionality. Therefore if/when you come across a bug it is VERY important
that you give this information to the QA team and the developers. To do this
simply report the problem in issuezilla ? ( http://openoffice.org -> "My
Pages" -> "Register", then when you receive a confirmation email, "Login" and
"File an issue" )
In this way the relevant developers will see your bug report / suggestion and
you will also see the progress of this feature / bug report if it is
accepted.
