When a WORD document is opened in OOo writer the images appear square and of uniform size. To get them to be properly sized it's necessary to, one by one, do a four-click procedure to achieve "original size."

First , why is this - perhaps there's something I'm missing.

Second, is consideration being given to including a mass application of the process so that all graphics can be converted to original size?

A while back I was provided with a macro which presumably could accomplish this,l but the process of installing and using it was sufficiently daunting that I have opted to stay with MSWord and smaller files (MSWord fails when there are too many endnotes)
