Hmm.. Still many issues IMHO. Here are some interesting things I found out. I called Sun to find more information about best practices, etc. etc. I spoke to like 3 different receptionist. Not 1 knew anything about OpenO. I finally left a message for for StarOffice and no return call for over 1 week.
The study from Novell is a good point of reference, but is really the only one. Testimonials, nothing since 2004. That is not good. Case studies, a 1 man company should not be considered a case study. We need more substantial companies using it. Is Sun using OpenO? Will be great if they can publish their case study. -----Original Message----- From: Wangshanpo [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 23, 2005 5:04 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [users] Re: Migrating to OOo Matej Cepl wrote: > Paul Aviles wrote: > >> Are there any white paper, success stories, gotchas, etc on migrating >> to OpenOffice out there?
