Hi I can not install OO on my Windows 98 machine. I have Norton Internet Security installed. When I start the installation the computers turns off completly. I have not seen an error message. The Google tool bar is installed and working. Please help me download OO. Bev
I see 2 questions here, install, then late download. I have Win98SE Do you have OOo 2 downloaded? Place in the folder that you want. As a matter of course, I turn off Norton, ZoneAlarm and AVG(virus) Then make sure anything that I donot need is turn off as well, e-Mail, web browser etc, just takes up cycles. I did delete the beta version prior to starting the install, I used a different folder for OOo2 than for OOo 1.
