Gene,
Another suggestion is to go to the SoundBlaster webpage and download the manual in PDF format.

If you're using Windows, it should open normally just by double-clicking
on it in Explorer. CHM is a compiled HTML help file.

Greetings;

I just bought an SBLive 24 bit card, and the manual on the cd is in
the .chm format. Opening it with OOo-2.0.1 gets me about the same as
opening it with less, unintelligible gibberish with a few english
words sprinkled hither and yon.

Does OOo have a filter to properly handle this?

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
