Since you had to retry the download many times, it still looks as if you got a 
corrupt file. You should try downloading again, maybe ask someone with a 
proper connection, not dialup, or you can also ask for a CD for a small fee 
to be sent to you. You can't compare this to the m$ stuff, as you can't 
legally download their $h**, and if you buy it it costs many times more than 
if you get a cd with OO on it. Also if downloading, look for a download site 
close to you, that might give you a better connection.
