Oh, I'm sorry, I went back and saw that. I apologize for not reading the thread more carefully. I find the Html Editor in OpenOffice.org to be one of the main reasons I use > OpenOffice.org. Those I have trained to use it, also find it to be very > good. > I haven't taken the time to learn OOo's "quirks" in the HTML department. I find there are less quirky, more powerful, free tools out there for that - so I just use what I find to be the best tool for the job. I even use AbiWord quite often for simple edits to a word processing document - since it loads so much faster. I like having as many tools as I can at my disposal, and then pick the best for a given job. I haven't tried the HTML editor in 2.0 - it may be improved, but I gave the 1.1 version the old "Three Strikes" test - and then moved on. One reason I didn't bother to test it on 2.0 is because the coders removed the icon. This, too me, makes it look like it's something they didn't want to be a focus, and therefore something they didn't work much on. But YMMV. -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software!
