Read the title of the email.

You say -net above, this is a 1.1.x

RPMs don't install on debian linux.  Only deb and
tar.gz files install on debian.  Thus I use 1.1, as
documented in the title of this email.

I don't find those instructions as helpful as the ones
in the old setup guide.
