I just saved a DOC file with AppleWorks. It worked fine. It may just be a rtf file with a doc extention - but it works. It did crash once when I tried to open a Word Document made with MSO 2003 - but I picked a hard one on purpose. The next one I picked opened fine. -- - Chad Smith http://www.gimpshop.net/ Because everyone loves free software!
