First suggestion is that you go to www.neooffice.org and download and
use that -- printing from neo office is like from any other Mac
application.
Before you do anything else make sure you can print to your network
printer from an OSX application (mail/safari/textedit) and that you
know the name of the printer (System Preferences -- Printers and Faxes)
If you are determined to use 2.0 then you need to create a printer by
opening a terminal window (you can use the window X11 opened when you
lauched Open Office)
Type ./Applications/OpenOffice.org 2.0.app/Contents/openoffice.org2.0/
program/spadmin -- assuming Open Office is in your Applications folder)
This will open a window where you can either add fonts or add a printer
Click new printer
Select Generic printer from the drivers list
You will the see a window that allows you to "choose a command line"
You wanty to select a the line that says "lp -d (your printer
name)" pick one that works well when you are using it normally!
Click Next -- and give the printer a sensible name
Before you print -- check the properties and make sure they match
your printer
reread the first suggestion!
Then go ahead and print
Have fun

Is it possible for OpenOffice for Mac to print to a shared network
printer?
If so, how?
