Hi--

Okay, here's my problem: I have a spreadsheet with cells that calculate the account balance as a formula that subtracts the last transaction amount from the previous balance. I.e., each transaction is a row and the account grows downward. Works fine, except when I subsequently want to cut-'n'-paste the *value* (not the formula!) of the calculated cell, perhaps because I'm doing a snapshot report page and want the static value.

Seems that back in the Excel days, I used Excel's "Paste Special" with the "Values Only" option to do this. Can't find the functionality in OOo Calc. Am I just not seeing it, or is this feature really missing?

System Specifics: OOo 2.0 on OS X 10.4.3.

Thanks,
Mark

Look up "paste special" in "help"
