Greetings;
While I've been here a while, on general principles, I'm by no means a
guru about OOo. So please bear with an old fart for a couple of
paragraphs.
My wife just handed me a penciled up drawing of a bowling scorecard, to
be used up at one page per line bowled. Asked me to scan & copy it,
but even in greyscale from the scanner, its still about 10 minutes a
page to print from the gimp. Not exactly 'by the ream' production rate
that. Plug in the poor quality of reproduced pencil lines and you get
the picture that I'm not proud of the result.
This sheet is a very simple thing needing (in landscape mode) 3 full
bleed horizontal lines, and about 11 full bleed vertical lines & 11
short lines to break up each frames per ball scores. And about 60
characters of text in various locations.
I think I can draw the lines in writer, ISTR I've done that before, so I
don't think thats a problem.
So the question then is: How do I set writer to compose and display in
landscape mode rather than portrait so that text entry is also in
landscape mode?
I would add to Brian's answer that I bet you could do this very easily
using a table.
