It sounds like a bug to me. Have you tested this with 2.0.1 ? If you have then 
can you please report this in issuezilla ? ( http://openoffice.org -> "My 
Pages" -> "Register", then when you receive a confirmation email, "Login" and 
"File an issue" ).
In this way the relevant developers will see your bug report  and you will 
also see the progress of this bug report if it is accepted.

You will also need to attach the smallest word doc which shows this problem so 
that the QA team and the developer can see the problem.
