Are you using linux as OS? If so, which distro and which GUI (KDE or gnome)? 
With KDE you can change the language settings of the interface, and if there 
are more than one languages installed, OpenOffice (if installed via the 
distribution's tools), will also be installed in those different languages 
and will show up in the language you set for KDE.
