Hi All,
I am trying to use an existing MySQL database as my bibliography database.
I am using OO2.0, MySQL 5.0 server with the MySQL ODBC 3.51 driver on a
WinXP machine
I am working on the assumption that OO2 bibliography widget can do the
following
1. Access a registered data source
2. Pick any table from it
3. Assign arbitrary columns from the database table to a column in its
own bibliography fields (eg ISSN, author etc.)
I see from the OO2 bibliography widget that all this functionality
appears to be present, however
1. I can seem to only deal with the first table in the database -
switching to another table does not cause the bibliography widget to
fetch that table
2. If I copy just the required table to a new database it allows me to
do step 3 (Assign arbitrary columns from the database table to a column
in its own bibilography fields) but it, for some reason, does not work -
it silently fails to assign the columns.
Any pointers/help would be much appreciated!
